About Picton:

Picton is a small town in the Marlborough Region, which is situated on the north coast of the South Island, New Zealand. It is the core of the transport network in New Zealand which connects the South Island to the North Island via ferries across Cook Strait to Wellington. Being the main commercial center in Marlborough, it is also the access point to The Queen Charlotte Sound.

Picton to Ship cove / Endeavour inlet: This is a single track road to either end of the Queen Charlotte track. Whether you want transport to the start or pickup from the end of the track, we have it sorted.

Picton to Blenheim/Nelson: Travel from the Picton ferry terminal to Blenheim is through state highway 1. This journey takes half an hour and passes through Koromiko, Grovetown, and Tuamatina before reaching Blenheim. To Nelson, it is a 2 hour drive and passes through Blenheim, Havelock and the famous Pelorus bridge.

Picton to anywhere in the south island: We often transport groups to Golden Bay, the West Coast (Hokitika, Westport), and down the East Coast to Kaikoura and Christchurch. Just enquire with what you’re plans are and we’ll sort it out.
